2009 Winter Super Challenge

Chess Tournament for Students from K-12

When: Saturday, December 5th, 2009 from 9am – 6pm

Where: Victoria Park C.I. (15 Wallingford Road, North York, ON) Getting there: Bing Map

Style: 5 Rounds Swiss in 5 Sections.

Sections: Open, U1200, U1000, U800, U600 divided by CMA rating.

Open and U1200 sections will also be CFC rated.

Event Schedule:

9:00 am – 9:25 am Registration

9:30 am – 10:30 am Round 1

10:40 am – 11:40 am Round 2

11:50 am – 12:50 pm Round 3

12:50 pm – 1:10 pm Lunch

1:10 pm – 3:10 pm Round 4

3:20 pm – 5:20 pm Round 5

5:20 pm – 5:45 pm Closing Ceremony

Time Control: Open Section & U1200 - Rounds 1-3 SD/30, Rounds 4-5 SD/60

Other Sections – All Rounds SD/30

Entry Fee: $28 before Nov 27, 2009 by cheque, $25.75 before Nov 27,2009 by Paypal online, a $10 late fee will be charged after Nov 27, 2009.
