The GTCL Executives approved three bids from Willowdale Chess Club for 2008 Toronto Women, Seniors and Juniors Chess Championships. Please see the tournaments details as following link:

• The TORONTO WOMEN'S CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 (September 16 - October 28)
• The TORONTO SENIOR CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 (October 14 - November 25)
• The TORONTO JUNIOR CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 (November 11 - December 23)
