Swiss System Tournament

All rounds are 45 minutes per player.  The Tournament will be CFC rated.

In this system there are no eliminations.  Every player is expected to play all 5 rounds.  The player will usually meet another player with the same score after each round.  To break a tie, the system of adding cumulative scores will be used if needed.

PRIZES: 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners will receive a trophy plus $25 scholarship for the entry fee to the Ontario High School Chess Championships Fri May 7 – Sun May 9, 2010 at the University of Toronto (For details go to http://ohscc.on.ca)

1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners in each grade (7 to 12) will receive a medal
