2009 Canadian Closed and Zonal Championship

Dates: August 7 – 16, 2009
Venue: Peter Clark Hall, Guelph University Centre
Eligibility: Provincial Champions, Titled players (FM, IM, GM), players rated 2200 or above.
Winner qualifies to 2009 World Cup in Khanty Mansiysk, 2nd and 3rd place finishers qualify to 2011 Continental Chamnpionship.
Time Control: 40/90, G/30 plus 30 second Fischer increment from first move
Entry Fee: $250 early fee or $300 after August 1, 2009?06?09
